It's simple: we want EVERYONE to see ALL FILMS, ALL THE TIME.
With this idea in mind, the REGARD Festival wants to do everything possible to achieve its goal, starting by joining inclusive partner organizations such as CAL, being an (almost) bilingual festival, and implementing solidarity pricing* on the purchase of passes.
Mobility
REGARD is one of the partner organizations of the Companion leisure card (CAL) :
As a person with reduced mobility who holds a CAL, you are entitled to free access for your companion when you purchase your ticket.
All theaters have accessible restrooms and reserved parking spaces.
Check out the available parking spaces here: Saguenay City Map
Translation
Screenings: French films are subtitled in English and English films are subtitled in French.
Activities: We also offer simultaneous translation services for some of our Short Film Market activities (marked with a 🎧 symbol), from French to English and English to French.
*New: solidarity pricing
In the current economic climate, we are aware that supporting culture is becoming an increasingly difficult investment to make. That is why REGARD, in the interests of accessibility and transparency, has opted for a new solidarity pricing model based on trust and the responsibility of each individual to choose the best price according to their financial situation. More details to follow.
Three rates: regular, welcoming, committed.
The regular rate is set at the usual price, for those who do not need to make concessions.
The welcoming rate is set at a reduced price, so that the festival remains accessible to all.
The committed rate is set at a higher price, to allow others to benefit from a lower rate and to support the Festival in its mission of inclusion.
Whether you opt for the regular, welcoming, or committed rate, you will enjoy the same access to the Festival. Thank you for choosing the option that best reflects your reality—and thank you to those who can afford the committed rate: your generosity greatly helps us make culture more accessible to all!
