New: solidarity pricing
Any reason is a good reason to bring people and culture together! With accessibility and transparency in mind, REGARD has opted for a new solidarity-based pricing model founded on trust and individual responsibility, allowing each person to choose the best price according to their financial situation.
How does it work?
Two new rates: welcoming & committed.
The welcoming rate is set at a reduced price, so that the Festival remains accessible to all.
The commited rate is set at a higher price, to allow others to benefit from a lower rate and to support the Festival in its mission of inclusion.
Whether you choose the regular, welcoming, or committed rate, you will enjoy the same access to the Festival. Thank you for choosing the option that best reflects your reality—and thank you to those who can afford the committed rate: your generosity greatly helps us make culture more accessible to everyone!
*A $5 fee applies to all online purchases.
To avoid this fee, you can purchase passes and tickets at the Théâtre C box office (Monday to Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday evenings when there is a performance). Offered to students and industry professionals, it acts as a passport and gives access to private networking activities as well as the Festival's official list of professional guests. Please visit the Short Film Market page to find out about all our professional activities!
→ Do we need to reserve seats for Youth screenings, even though they are free?
No, there is no need to reserve! The theaters are large, and unlike the Competitions, you do not need to arrive 30 minutes early to secure a seat. If you have any further questions, please contact [email protected].
→ I have already purchased my passport, but I would prefer to have professional accreditation after all. How do I proceed?
We will only charge you the difference between the cost of the accreditation and the passport you selected. Please notify us as soon as possible by email at [email protected] or by phone at 418-698-5854.

A double session consists of the screening of two (2) different programs of short films with a 20-minute intermission between the two sessions.
→ Is it possible to purchase tickets at the entrance to the various theaters for single and/or double screenings before the showings?
Yes, tickets will be available at the entrance to all our theaters before the screenings. Please note that ticket sales on site may be limited depending on attendance, so it is best to arrive at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure you get a seat.
→ Are there reduced prices for students and seniors?
Due to the implementation of a new solidarity pricing system, we invite anyone whose financial situation would otherwise prevent them from enjoying culture to refer to the welcoming rate, including students and seniors.
→ Are accessibility measures in place for people with reduced mobility or disabilities?
REGARD is a partner organization of the Companion Leisure Card (CAL) in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. With the CAL, as a person with reduced mobility, you do not have to pay for your companion's admission. However, you must pay for your own admission.
In terms of accessibility, most of our rooms are adapted, but we suggest you contact us by phone at 418-698-5854 or by email at [email protected] to make sure.
→ What is the procedure for obtaining my tickets or passes if I am a person with reduced mobility?
For CAL cardholders, simply call Diffusion Saguenay at 418-698-4080 and press 1 for the box office.
You will be asked to present your CAL at the event.
