    Short film emerging artists

    Each year, REGARD chooses about 200 films, to offer the best programming to festival-goers. Watching short films allows the programming team to discover artists that have a solid chance to gain notoriety in the next years. The component Shoot No Matter What! already showcases those promising emerging artists, but here are some examples of new talents included in other programs, and that were at REGARD for its 21st edition.

    Winners of REGARD 2017

    After several hours of viewing and energetic deliberations, the juries of Festival REGARD’s 21st edition have announced the winners of the various prizes at Hôtel Chicoutimi on Sunday, March 19th. In total, 11 prizes and 3 special mentions have been awarded, for a total of over $60,000 in grants and services.
