Synopsis

In Sainte-Rosalie-du-Havre, an isolated fishing island, the seventh son of a seventh son is born. A legend is created around the meaning of his birth and, despite him, Cantin is proclaimed prophet by the villagers. After having a foolish childhood, Cantin is searching for a way to disappear in order to live a normal life.

    After growing in Gatineau, Félix moves to Montreal to study cinematography at Concordia University. He starts his career has a creative producer for Telescope films, where he collaborates with many famous Canadian artists on music videos and short films, winning awards in international festivals. During the same time, Félix directs short films and music videos. In his projects, we can feel his passion for complex story lines exposing human nature and psychology that are portrayed by a poetic aesthetic.

  • Evangelos Desborough

    Evangelos was born in Ottawa in 1995 and moved to Montreal in 2013 to pursue his passion for the cinema. After completing his studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and at the Institut national de l'image et du son (INIS), Evangelos worked as a director and photo director on many projects. With his fascination for isolation, as well as the relationship between people and their environment, introspection is a theme that he portrays through visual storytelling.
