Born in 1990, Mathilde first studied art at the Atelier de Sèvres then animation at the École des Métiers du Cinéma d’Animation and at La Pourdrière, where she directed Louis (2013) and Petit homme (2015), both selected for the Annecy Festival. She then worked as an animator and story boarder on various projects. In 2020, she signed her first professional short film Trona Pinnacles, in which she explores the strange and the fantastic to stage the inwardness of her characters.
