Synopsis

Maya, a 40-year-old trans woman, returns to her hometown after years away to spend time with her ailing mother. While the village searches for the missing Virgin, a shared walk between them opens the door to intimacy, memory, and the sacred.

    A graduate of EPCTV (2012), she has worked in screenwriting, photography, and directing. She co-directed Delinquido (Audience Award, FLCR 2017) and La Mutuante (awarded at several festivals). In 2019, she was DoP of Hijas del Maíz.
