Synopsis

Gab and Tom are celebrating their one-year anniversary in a cabin in northern Quebec. But when their opposing views on love resurface, disillusionment sets in for this ultra-modern couple.

    Tim Bouvette is a screenwriter and director. His realistic storytelling is rooted in a cinema of everyday life, where the intimate intersects with the collective through a psychosocial approach, all within a minimalist mise-en-scène inspired by Nordic cinema. His short films La petite Floride (2020, Audience Award at Regard), Rang du Lièvre (2024, selected at Slamdance, Audience Award at Regard), and Lac en cœur (2026) have reached audiences both in Quebec and internationally. Tim is also developing his first feature film, titled Les feux fantômes.
