Stacy Lee is a Jamaican-born, Montréal-based writer-director who transitioned from photography to filmmaking in 2021. She is currently developing her debut short and feature films that explore what it means to survive as an artist under late-stage capitalism. Her work has been supported by the Prism Prize grant and the PHI Centre’s Visible Voices residency.
